We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Motley County, Texas. You will work in a garment export house. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory You will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
