Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Edmunds County, South Dakota. The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Full-time, day shift.
