GMAW welder — McDowell County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in McDowell County, West Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Full-time with occasional weekends.
