Metal caster • Waushara County, Wisconsin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Waushara County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills Full-time, day shift.
