Delivery truck driver — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in Jackson County, Iowa. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid digital tachograph card Your main tasks: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
