You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Your main tasks: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio 2+ years on the tools preferred.
