Sheet metal press operator — Greene County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Greene County, Iowa. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
