Now hiring: gas metal arc welder (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Mercer County, Missouri. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
