Safety inspector • City of Franklin, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in City of Franklin, Virginia. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. The role involves record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
