Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
