Urgent requirement: lifting rigger (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Augusta County, Virginia. You will work at a power plant. On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
