Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Shagari, Sokoto State. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
