Core maker wanted in Columbia County

Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Columbia County, New York. The job is on the moulding line. You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 5+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
