Gas metal arc welder • Jama'Are, Bauchi State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Jama'Are, Bauchi State. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
