Vacancy available: marble cutter (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble cutter in Davis County, Iowa. You will work on a residential building site. You should have: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching On the job you will handle: • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
