Immediate opening: we are hiring a stone mason in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. Day-to-day duties: • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
