Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream 2+ years on the tools preferred.
