Machinist — Ikot Abasi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required.
