Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Mitchell County, Georgia. The job is in a spray booth. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Day to day you will check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun.
