Safety officer — Lincoln County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Lincoln County, Nebraska. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. Your main tasks: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
