Urgent requirement: occupational health and safety officer (Alaska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements On the job you will handle: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
