Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Anderson County, Kansas. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks.
