Urgent requirement: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Hardin County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes Your main tasks: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio Part-time with flexible hours.
