Urgent requirement: we are hiring an auto painter in Northampton County, Virginia. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand On the job you will handle: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
