Pipe tig welder wanted in Bennett County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Bennett County, South Dakota. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
