Join our team: fire and safety officer (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Glasgow City, Scotland. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. The role involves record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
