Reinforcement fitter wanted in Knox County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Knox County, Maine. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
