Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Adair County, Iowa. The job is in a hotel kitchen. You will polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard. Requirements: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
