Brickwork mason — Ouachita Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
