Gang bricklayer wanted in Webster County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Webster County, Iowa. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day to day you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge.
