Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Riley County, Kansas. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. On a typical shift you will remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe. Requirements: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
