Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile roofer in Rutland County, Vermont. The job is on commercial flat-roof projects. Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Day-to-day duties: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
