Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Morgan County, Tennessee. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day-to-day duties: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
