Banksman — Mineral County

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Mineral County, Colorado. You will work on a high-rise building site. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
