Collision repair technician — Shelby County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Shelby County, Iowa. You will be based at an accident repair garage. Requirements: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines The role involves mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
