On a typical shift you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
