What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler On a typical shift you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts.
