Now hiring: vertical transportation technician (Idaho)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Power County, Idaho. You will be based at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
