Immediate opening: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in City of Covington, Virginia. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Your main tasks: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
