Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in Chase County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes On a typical shift you will anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames.
