Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Benton County, Missouri. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. On the job you will handle: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
