Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration 3+ years on the tools preferred.
