Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality checker in Giles County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Your main tasks: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
