Production welder • Lake County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in Lake County, Ohio. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
