Vacancy available: conventional mill operator (Montana)

Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Carbon County, Montana. The job is in a toolroom. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
