Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Shetland Islands, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 6+ years on the tools preferred. £1,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
