Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required You will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
