Precision welder wanted in Volusia County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Volusia County, Florida. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
