Vertical transportation technician — Somerset County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Somerset County, Maryland. You will work in a residential tower block. Your main tasks: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
