Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Stanislaus County, California. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
